Location is perfect for accessing Times Square and nearby attractions. The elevators were extremely slow, often making waits frustrating. Rooms were clean but quite small. Staff was friendly and accommodating, but noise from the street was bothersome at night.

Cleanliness was impressive, and the staff, although mixed in courtesy, showed some great faces like Sonny at reception who was kind to my son. The location is spot-on, making city exploration a breeze. I faced issues with my bed size and the staff's rudeness felt disheartening. The noise from the cleaning staff starting early in the morning was disruptive. Rooms are dated and in need of maintenance; the bathrooms are particularly cramped. A little deli nearby had good breakfast options. With patience, one can enjoy the charm, but the service inconsistencies were frustrating.

Great location, great experience with friendly staff who quickly resolved our room issue and provided us with a fantastic room with a balcony at no extra charge.

Location is unbeatable. Steps from the heart of the action. you get what you pay for. Clean room initially, but the bathroom had severe damp issues. No window or ventilation, resulting in unwelcome flies. Staff members, particularly at the front desk, were professional and responsive. A shoutout to the woman with brown hair; she made the transition to a new room seamless. The hotel is outdated. Cracked plaster, peeling paint, and malfunctioning appliances. An ice machine and soda vending machine? Not operational. Elevator was slow and cramped, creating unnecessary delays. Noise from the nearby club disrupted sleep until 2 AM. With better maintenance, this place could truly shine. A commendable staff, but the condition of the hotel needs immediate attention.

The bed was uncomfortable, with stains and hair evident, leading to rashes. The room temperature was excessively hot; despite setting the A/C to cold, it barely helped. Noise from outside was disruptive, but walls were thin too, making other guests audible. The bathroom tap was broken, and the shower water was freezing. We struggled with lifts that took forever. There was no refrigerator, leading to inconvenience with takeout. Despite the central location and pleasant staff, the overall comfort was severely lacking due to maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns.

The staff were incredibly sweet, especially Tony and the lovely lady in pink glasses! The location is fantastic for exploring all the best spots. My room was cozy, and the housekeeping team was so friendly!

I couldn't believe how noisy it was! No soundproofing at all—could hear everything from the club downstairs to sirens outside. Even after switching rooms, it was just as bad. Definitely not the peaceful getaway I was hoping for.

During my stay, I found the hotel to be just a few steps away from the vibrant Times Square, with a multitude of restaurants and entertainment options right at my fingertips, plus the subway stations are just a short 5-minute walk away which made exploring the city incredibly easy; I was delighted to find Central Park was only about a 10-minute stroll from the hotel, allowing for peaceful walks among the greenery after a day of sightseeing, but the facilities could use some upgrades to match the fantastic location.

The vending machine was my favorite dining option there, perfect for a classy meal. The fitness center had a few machines as old as Methuselah, giving me a real vintage workout experience.
No sleep, just party below until dawn.

The heating system worked well, keeping me warm and cozy during the chilly evenings in New York City. the air conditioning unit seemed to have a mind of its own, only blowing hot air at times, which made it uncomfortable. I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee facilities in the room, allowing me to enjoy a warm beverage at my convenience. On the downside, I found the lack of a trouser press a bit inconvenient as I prefer my clothes neatly pressed. The free toiletries provided were a nice touch, but I did notice that the amenities could have been restocked more promptly during my stay. The AM/FM alarm clock was handy for waking up on time, but the flat-screen TV had limited channels available for entertainment. The parquet floor in the room added a touch of elegance, but I did encounter some issues with the dry cleaning service, as it took longer than expected to have my clothes returned.

we had a family room at Gallivant Times Square, and there were 6 of us. plenty of room, clean, and amazing location. the bellhop kept our bags for us on our last day so we didn't have to tote them around the city. definitely recommend this room for someone wanting to stay near Times Square on a budget.

the gallivant times square is spotless, and the location is unbeatable! it's super close to all the action, and the staff is really accommodating. plus, the free breakfast at the bar next door is a major perk. couldn't ask for more!

We hit up Times Square and Broadway, partying till dawn. The location was lit and so were the vibes. Perfect spot for us young party animals!
More late-night hangout spots at the hotel would've been epic for our squad to keep the party going! .

Great location and clean rooms, but the bathroom was very small and there was limited storage space for clothes. We had a fantastic time exploring the city and the hotel's proximity to Times Square was unbeatable. I'd recommend this hotel for its prime location and decent accommodations.

The location was unbeatable, just a few minutes' walk from Times Square and close to many tourist attractions and subway stations. The friendly and helpful front desk staff made our stay more pleasant, offering assistance with any inquiries we had.
We encountered a few issues during our stay, such as unreliable wifi and poor phone signal. The room had a small shower that splashed water everywhere, and the lack of a chair made it challenging to have a separate place to sit and relax.
